For adventure lovers our region is a paradise, considered as Peru’s Hiking, Trekking and Climbing Capital! Whether you fancy a day tour or hike, a multi-day trek through the Huascaran National Park or an easy mountain climb in the Peruvian Andes – Cordillera Blanca, all of that can be arranged and started from your Hotel room.
Start exploring our village by hiking up to one of the hills surrounding the hotel, as you acclimatize to the altitude. Meet Quechua villagers and immerse yourself in the local culture, have the opportunity to see local shepherds and farmers working on the fields using traditional methods. Our Quechua people are nice and friendly, always willing to speak with visitors even when they do not understand your language. You can even take part in their daily activities and get a unique experience of a lifetime.
For avid hikers, a hike up to Laguna Llaca Lake, Laguna Churup Lake, Laguna Palcacocha Lake, Laguna Tullpacocha Lake, Laguna Shallap Lake and Laguna Ahuac Lake are a MUST, whilst acclimatising.
For the truly adventurous, opting for a stunning multi-day trek through Quilcayhuanca to Cojup Valleys and a mountain climb up to Vallunaraju at 5686m is a MUST DO.
